VISUAL IDENTITY REBRAND

Established in 1994, Harbourview Optometry Centre has been diligently providing eye care and eye wear services for the residents of Thunder Bay and northwestern Ontario ever since. Having the latest digital technology and specialized testing instrumentation allows the doctors at Harbourview Optometry Centre to detect and manage many common ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration in a timely fashion.

In 2011, the chaps at Harbourview Optometry Centre moved to a shiny Harbourview Optometry Centre new location, which got them thinking about a shiny new rebranded visual identity and logo to match. The Harbourview Optometry Centre’s logo was designed to be either used in a horizontal or vertical formats to better fit different compositions. The simple stroke-work of the illustrated logo and analogous colour palette create a harmonious balance that works well in space, on light and dark backdrops, as well as on a variety of different materials. Using stylized iconography related to eyes and the vision care industry, we developed the Harbourview Optometry brand, bringing a fresh, modern and appealing look to both their marketing and communications collateral, and their work environment as a whole. Because when vision care is your calling and your business it’s important that both your treatments and your premises are easy on the eye.
